Overview:
Sandy Lane Automotive West is looking for a Shuttle Driver/General Helper. We are a family-owned company, and we pride ourselves on offering a superior customer experience.

This position will be considered primarily part-time and temporary, although it may work into a permanent position. Regular hours will be 8:00am to 5:00pm, and the normal schedule is 2-3 days per week, Monday to Friday.

Although shuttle service will be your primary responsibility, the job also requires basic customer service duties, minor administrative duties, parts runs, and other small tasks on occasion.

What you will bring to the position:

- A positive, safety-oriented attitude and outgoing personality, and a willingness to do what is needed to help management, service and shop staff
- The ability to communicate effectively with passengers and respond to inquiries
- The ability to maintain cleanliness and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
- The ability to adhere to all traffic and safety regulations
- Computer familiarity (Windows, Outlook)
- The ability to use a smartphone (iPhone)
- The ability to coordinate and schedule customer rides
- Knowledge of the city streets/routes
- The ability to drive in all weather conditions
- English proficiency for effective communication with passengers

You must have:

- A valid Alberta Class 5 Operator’s License
- Three years of driving experience with regular vehicles (cars, SUVs, light trucks)
- Three proven years of insured history with NO accidents or claims
- No more than 3 minor convictions (speeding tickets, etc.)
- No major convictions (impaired driving, distracted driving, etc.)

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
