**On-Demand Shuttle Driver - Multiple Openings**

Are you looking for a position that offers flexibility? Look no further PWTransit Canada is currently seeking motivated casual and part-time On-Demand Shuttle Drivers to join our team.

PWTransit’s On-Demand Shuttle program will transport residents of designated neighbourhoods in Edmonton to ETS transit hubs/LRT stations. Shuttle Drivers are responsible for safely transporting passengers while providing superior customer service and demonstrating strong communication skills, patience, maturity, and initiative.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Transport passengers safely and according to established policy
- Interface with On-Demand software via on-board tablet, which provides real-time instructions to drivers
- Maintain radio contact with base and use proper communications protocol
- Operate the shuttle vehicles in a safe manner in all weather/road conditions
- Provide information to and assist passengers in a courteous manner
- Manage passenger behaviour by quickly and effectively solving problems
- Report vehicle maintenance issues, passenger emergencies, and schedule concerns
- Conduct pre-and-post trip checks of vehicles prior to/after their use
- Complete various forms of paperwork, as required

**Requirements**:

- Valid Class 4 driver’s license
- Clear driver's abstract
- Clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check
- Negative drug and alcohol testing
- Strong knowledge of City of Edmonton roadways
- Physical ability to push/pull wheelchairs up and down a ramp or onto lift
- Organized, punctual, and reliable
- Calm, upbeat, and helpful manner
- Excellent driving skills and habits

**Position Details**:

- Competitive wages

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $23.60-$27.76 per hour
