Vision Truck Group is searching for an experienced Parts Manager with drive and determination to support the day-to-day management and leadership skills required to oversee the Cambridge Parts Department.

**Job Duties**
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Parts Department.
- Provide customer estimates for front counter and shop counter.
- Helps with the hiring process, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all parts department staff.
- Develop and implement short, medium and long-term goals, which will ensure that the company achieves its commitment to on time delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintains a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts and the do-it-yourself public.
- Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence.
- Sets and enforces a policy on the special ordering of parts. Ensures that stock orders represent at least 90 percent of all orders.
- Establishes pricing parameters in each customer category that generate sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty
- Ensures that the same high-quality level of service provided to outside customers is also provided to internal dealership customers.
- Works with the service manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
- Track the performance of department, direct reports, and staff.
- Holds weekly department meetings.
- Monitors parts department employees' payroll records and submits weekly.
- Coordinates a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork
- Participate as a member of the management team reporting to the Director of Parts Operations
- Develops, enforces and monitors guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction. Accordingly handles customer complaints immediately and according to the dealership's guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Health & Safety**:

- Good knowledge of and follow all safety policies, rules, regulations as required by the company and legislation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety policies, rules, and regulations by all employees under his supervision as required by the company and legislation.
- Ensure all PPE is worn at all times and the use of any optional additional PPE is encouraged.
- Respond to any workplace hazards identified by the JHSC.
- Investigate incidents that result in vehicle damage.
- Insure correct handling and storage of all products
- Maintain a company issued H&S Policy Manual for reference when needed
- Respond to and correct unsafe behaviours.

**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Minimum of **5 **years’ experience in a Heavy Equipment industry or similar industry. At least 3 of those years must have been spent in a supervisory position.
- Personal Attributes - action-oriented, quick thinking, strategic thinker, adapts quickly to change, high level of flexibility, interfaces well with executives and good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, such as “markup” and “margin”.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
