Opening duties - marking unsold sushi on day old sheet, putting stickers on unsold sushi, washing and making sushi rice, preparing yams, prawns, and sushi rolls for tempura frying, print labels for lids

Production - prepare sushi on list, cut rolls, box and label. Put out on display case. Fill case fully.

Preparation for next day - prepare imitation crab, meat, cut yam, cut salmon and tuna, cut English cucumber, fill all sauce bottles, fill inserts on sushi case with avocados, cucumber, soy packets, sushi ginger, fill near display cases soy packets and disposable chop sticks

Cleaning - sanitize all sushi counters, wash all inserts, knives, rice container, sushi vinegar measuring cup, rice paddle and store above rice bin, wipe and sanitize sushi case outside and inside, sweep and mop work area, take inventory and temperature readings on refrigerators.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Handler Certification (preferred)
- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

Work Location: In person
