Myticas Consulting's direct client is looking for a LEAD TEST Consultant for a 1.5+ year contract. This position requires **on-site presence in the Ottawa-based headquarters** and an **ENHANCED/RELIABILTY Government Clearance.**

**The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services**:
Reporting to the Clients Program Manager:

- Oversee all aspects of the testing phase of the Unclaimed Property Technical Solution (UPTS) project with a focus on the planning, coordination, and execution of sprint testing and acceptance testing for the new solution o Oversee the retention of test results, approvals, and applicable testing evidence o Oversee the defect process, ensuring that defects are documented, tracked, and reported to facilitate timely resolution
- Guide, coordinate and monitor the testers and test progress to ensure alignment with the plan, schedule, and documentation requirements o Produce and present test-related reports and information, such as requirement traceability matrices, testing progress, results, defect logs, approvals, and test evidence for a variety of audiences (team members, project governance, audit, etc.)
- At the direction of the Program Manager and in partnership with the business lead and Project Manager:

- Develop a testing plan and schedule, (including verification of data conversion, system integration testing, and acceptance testing) that align with the overall project schedule
- Support and participate in the creation of testcases for validation of data conversion, integration testing with clients downstream systems, and acceptance testing o Determine appropriate test sample sizes
- Provide regular updates on test activities and report any changes impacting time, cost, scheduling, or project risks to the Project Manager
- Participate in regular meetings and standups with client and vendor team members

**Required Qualifications Skills The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills**:

- University degree or college diploma in computer science, engineering, or business administration
- A minimum of eight (8) years of demonstrated experience in the field of IT
- A minimum of three (3) years of demonstrated experience leading test activities and teams
- Agile and innovative individual, who can thrive in an environment of change and ambiguity, and adapt test strategies for a COTS SaaS solution
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, self-prioritizing and manage own time, switching between multiple tasks as required, to deliver high-priority items quickly
- Demonstrated ability to translate business processes into executable test scenarios
- Demonstrated experience in writing clear, concise documents for audiences at all levels of an organization
- Demonstrated experience in facilitation and problem resolution

**Additional Qualifications The following will also be considered**:

- Demonstrated experience with cloud-based solutions, preferably Software-as-a-Solution (SaaS)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Scrum methodology and participation in all phases of the iterative process
