Testing and Commissioning Lead

As part of the Trillium project based in Ottawa, we are seeking a qualified Testing and Commissioning Lead to join our team:
**How will you contribute to the team?**
- Oversee the Testing and Commissioning team including on-site and field testing and commissioning activities
- Lead T&C meetings and communicate regularly with stakeholders and subcontractors
- Ensure T&C deliverables to City are reviewed and updated accordingly before submissions
- Manage/monitor the subcontractors quality work as per the design documentation
- Ensure the subcontractors fulfils their obligations as specified in their contract and find solutions to any issues that may arise
- Ensure work is being performed in a timely and cost effective manner and remaining on schedule
- Ensure works are performed safely with approved JHA, WMS and on-site safety procedures
- Prepare field reports, meeting minutes and tracking sheets for all S&TCS works
- Travel to different project sites to manage and track the subcontractor’s progress as required
- Support the T&C team in its processes and daily work

**What will you contribute / requirements?**
- Hold an Engineering related degree with ten or more years of experience with Rail Systems
- Experience with working with Subcontractors and on-site/field coordination with third parties
- Previous experience leading a
- Previous experience interacting with design groups, familiar with RFI’s, engineering change notices, and site instructions
- Experience in using MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) creating work schedules, and various other engineering software(s) such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, SolidWorks
- Excellent communication skills and a strong, self-motivated, work ethic
- Ability to make decisions in the field based on sound judgment and experience
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and including different shifts as required
- Must be able to qualify for CROR and other safety training(s) related to construction and rail operation environment.
