**Job Purpose**

Develops and document quality control processes to ensure rental equipment is maintained to a designated standard.

**Responsibilities**
- Creates equipment QC documents.
- Creates training documents.
- Determines asset tracking placement.
- Documents software/firmware procedures

**1. Creates equipment QC documents by**:

- Creating QC documentation and completing updating and maintenance of the documents.
- Ensuring QC documents are understandable and as simple as possible.
- Developing an information delivery system that allows warehouse technicians fast, easy, and convenient access to the QC documents.
- Documenting and testing new processes either by personal action or delegation to staff.
- Modifying or eliminating processes that do not bring added value to the company.
- Collaborating with the Technical Dept. to ensure equipment QC documents address issues raised by real-world use.
- Measuring the effect of process changes.

**2. Creates training documents by**:

- Creating training documentation and maintenance of the documents.
- Ensuring training documents are understandable and as simple as possible.
- Developing an information delivery system that allows warehouse technicians fast, easy, and convenient access to the training documents.
- Documenting and testing new processes either by personal action or delegation to staff.

**3. Determines asset tracking placement by**:

- Determining/documenting asset tracking placement in the QC documents.
- Managing asset tracking placement/labeling R&D.

**4. Documents Software/Firmware procedures by**:

- Working with the Technical Dept. to document software/firmware update procedures.
- Working with the Technical Dept. to confirm QC test file requirements.
- Creating software update documentation and maintaining the documents.
- Informing the Operations staff of software/firmware updates.
