Sushi Aboard located in downtown west end on Denman street. We are the first bullet train sushi in Vancouver. Our goal is to provide fun dining experiences for our customers with this new concept.

We are seeking a dynamic and talented head chef to lead the team. As a team leader, you will be responsible for building, mentoring and inspiring your team to keep food quality and turnaround time on track, creating an exciting and positive atmosphere and encouraging your team members to push themselves to their highest potential.

Qualification:

- At least 5 years of Japanese restaurant kitchen experience
- At least 3 years of similar manager role experience
- Professional skill in Japanese cuisine
- Food Safe Certification
- Clean, responsible and consistent

Responsibility:

- Food and ingredients preparation
- Schedule all staffs to their daily duties
- Inventory control and ordering, analyze operating cost and other data.
- Create a fun and positive working environment
- Keep kitchen clean
- Kitchen staffs training
- Supervise activities of other kitchen members

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $65,000.00-$66,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

**Experience**:

- Japanese Restaurant: 5 years (preferred)
- Manager: 3 years (preferred)
