**Job Summary**
**Responsibilities**
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including book keeping, payroll, GST remittances and general ledger accounting.
- Ensure compliance with CRA regulations while maintaining accurate financial records.
- Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key metrics and insights for decision-making.
- Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy in financial statements.
- Develop and implement budgeting processes to align with organizational goals.
- Perform technical accounting tasks related to regulatory reporting and compliance.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero for efficient financial management.
- Collaborate with external auditors during annual audits and ensure timely completion of all required documentation.
- Provide guidance on financial concepts to support strategic planning and operational efficiency.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation preferred.
- Proven experience in Automotive accounting.
- Strong knowledge of financial concepts including double entry bookkeeping, cash management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective financial report writing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and best practices in corporate accounting.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our organization’s financial health while working within a collaborative team environment.
Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
