**KEV** is an integrated team comprised of **Kiewit**, **Eurovia**, and** Vinci** responsible for the design, construction and commissioning of the Ottawa Light Rail Transit project in Ottawa.

The Confederation Line Extension Project includes the design, construction and financing of 27,5kilometres of light rail infrastructure. The scope of work also includes 4 kilometers of cutand cover tunnels, 20 engineered structures, 16 stations and a light maintenance service facility. We are currently looking for our future

**Quality Handover Coordinator**

**The job**:
Documentation and Records Management:

- Able to review all project documentation, including drawings, manuals, and specifications, are complete and accurate.
- Able to coordinate and compile as-built drawings and documentation.
- Maintain records of any changes in the package table of contents or deviations from the original submissions

Commissioning and Testing:

- Oversee the commissioning database management process to ensure all systems and components are tested and functioning as intended.
- Able to generate reports on commissioning status and pending items

Punch List Management:

- Identify and document any incomplete work or deficiencies in punch list management system.
- Actively coordinate with Operations and ensure all punch list items are addressed and resolved before handover.

Training and Knowledge Transfer:

- Should be able to provide training to the operations and maintenance team on the use and upkeep of the new systems and equipment.
- Ensure the receiving team understands all aspects of the project and is prepared to take over.

Coordination and Communication:

- Act as the primary point of contact between the construction team, subcontractors and the operations/maintenance team.
- Facilitate clear and effective communication between all parties involved in the handover process.
- Actively coordinate with all stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, clients, and operations teams.
- Should be very well versed in Excel and power point presentations.
- Shall have above average Handover software knowledge

Quality Assurance:

- Ensure that the project meets all quality standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate final inspections walkdowns with Operations, record the punches and should be able to verify compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Should be capable of reviewing and assembling the handover packages.

Client Liaison:

- Work closely with the client to ensure their expectations are met and address any concerns they may have.
- Obtain client approval and sign-off on all handover documentation and deliverables.
- Manage Client and Subcontractors walkdowns.

Warranty and Maintenance Support:

- Provide information on warranties and maintenance requirements for equipment and systems.
- Ensure the client is aware of the processes for addressing any post-handover issues.
- By fulfilling these responsibilities, a handover engineer ensures a seamless transition from construction to operation, minimizing disruptions and maximizing the project's success and longevity.
