**Proof of past completed fabrication jobs required**

In this position it will be your duty to identify the root cause of a defect and fabricate the necessary components for the solution. At times, you will be copying components and reverse engineering to build them to manufacturer specifications for reinstallation. While working closely with other welders, it will be your duty to stay ahead of the game, creating parts and components for them to install and assemble.

Some jobs have shop drawings or blueprints, however, most do not, and it will be your responsibility to design or copy solutions for defective heavy equipment, replacing necessary pieces. Ground engaging attachments, sanding trucks and plows, semi trailers, shipping containers, railcar components - a few examples of equipment you will work on.

**Salary**: $20.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- West St Paul, MB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Welding: 5 years (required)

Work Location: In person
