Office Assistant

**Overview**
We are seeking a **reliable and detail-oriented Office Assistant** to support daily office operations and assist with administrative and accounting functions. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and experienced with accounting systems, particularly **QuickBooks Online**.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain office records, files, and documentation
- Prepare invoices, statements, and internal reports
- Perform **bank and credit card reconciliations**:
- Prepare and file **GST/HST returns**:
- Perform **account, invoice, and payment reconciliations**:
- Work daily in **QuickBooks Online (QBO)** for bookkeeping and reporting
- Assist with payroll administration and related documentation
- Order office supplies and coordinate with vendors
- Maintain a professional and organized office environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in an office assistant, administrative, or bookkeeping role
- **QuickBooks Online experience is mandatory**:
- Strong understanding of reconciliations and sales tax filings
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information
