**Job Description**:
BPY is a diversified global real estate company that owns, operates and develops one of the largest portfolios of office, retail, multifamily, industrial, hospitality, triple net lease and self-storage assets.

The Manager, Finance will be a member of the Brookfield Property Partners (BPY) Corporate team, focusing on maintaining the corporate books and records for over 200 legal entities.

Key Job Functions:
- Lead the monthly financial close cycles, by reviewing daily journal entries, leading close process and period end accruals- Be a key contributor and reviewer with quarterly reporting requirements- Review the work of junior team members and provide mentorship to them- Collaborate regularly with and respond to the business and finance inquiries from other Brookfield business groups and departments- Continuously look for efficiency in our processes, tools and reports and make suggestions to implement these into our framework- Assist with reviewing and analyzing legal entity financial results as well as assist with forecasting- Prepare trial balances and/or other legal entity financial information based on tax and regulatory agency requests

Qualifications:
- Four to six (4-6) years of progressive work experience in an accounting or auditing function- Experience with public company reporting requirements under IFRS- Strong financial systems experience, including advanced Excel skills- Experience with managing direct reports, and the willingness to always support the team- Highly organized and able to work in a dynamic, complex and fast-paced environment, as well as adapt quickly to manage changing priorities and deadlines- Excellent verbal and written communication skills- Self-motivated and pro-active, with respect to both managing workload and professional development- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics and OneStream would be an asset

Education Required:
- CA or CPA designated
