Junior Buyer

**Position**: Junior Buyer** Reports to**:Sr. Manager Procurement

We are looking for a** Junior Buyer** to join our Procurement team We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Buyer to join our procurement team, specializing in non-stocked purchases and boxes.

**OPPORTUNITIES**

As a Junior Buyer, you will play a crucial role in sourcing and procuring various materials and items that are not regularly stocked by the company. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of packaging boxes used for our products. Your ability to negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, maintain accurate inventory records, and ensure timely delivery will be essential to the success of our procurement operations.

**KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS**
- You have basic knowledge of procurement processes and practices-You have basic-intermediate Excel skills (i.e. VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, etc.)
- You have intermediate/advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office & Dynamics GP)

**EXPERIENCE**
- You have 1+ years buying experience

**NICE-TO-HAVE**
- You have experience in Natural Food Industry
- You have experience related to setting up Floor Stocking Agreements and Validating Secondary Suppliers
- You have experience in Supply Chain practices

**THINGS YOU WILL DO**
- Non-stocked Purchases Sourcing & Purchasing
- Box Procurement Management
- Purchase Order Processing
- Supply relationship Management
- Inventory Control
- Cost Analysis and reporting

**OTHER**
- May on occasion work at various times including weekends, as the job requires
