Minimum of 3 years in Canada payroll preparation and understanding of Employment Standards Act and other payroll-related legislation and regulations.
- Experience in benefit administration considered an asset
- Strong Microsoft Office skills required including excel and word
- Proficiency with Accpac payroll system and IDT Pak Plus - time and attendance are considered an asset
- Excellent problem solving/judgement skills and high degree of attention to detail, ability to multi-task
- Effective, clear, and strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Knowledge of WSIB, remittances, and ROEs
