**Who are the Wilder?**

The Wilder is a social enterprise which creates experiences for people to learn about nature and sustainability, social enterprise and impactful business in creative, unconventional ways. We believe in inspiring education and action through immersing people in our beautiful wild.

This year we are working on the development of several projects focused on nature and sustainability education through creative means, including creating nature craft kits, hosting bushcraft and cultural workshops and events, and creating a light art exhibition using light art, projection, and digital art to tell engaging stories.

We are looking for a versatile person (either youth aged 18 - 30, or student of any age, Canadian permanent resident/citizen/refugee - based on the requirements of the wage funding being used to support this role) to help us to build our environmental experiences and programs. This person will be an integral member of our small team helping our Director move forward several of our new programs. As a small startup organisation you will have the opportunity to work on different tasks and projects.

**Who are you?**
- Event coordination and workshop logistics and facilitation
- Partnership building and business development
- Digital marketing: getting the word out there about our programs, social media and storytelling
- Developing our online store for our nature kits, identifying partners as well as procuring supplies, packing and sending out the kits, kit sales strategy
- Supporting our November arts exhibition from creative ideating to fabricating sculptures

We are looking for someone to join our team who possesses at least some of the following skills and interests:

- Creative, positive and can-do attitude, an ideas person, and who loves learning and thinking outside the box
- Ideally someone with a flexible work schedule as we will be busier at certain times around events, and who can operate independently with motivation and drive, reporting to our Director but taking on projects and tasks independently and sticking to deadlines
- Experience with videos, photography, digital marketing, or graphic design is desirable but not essential
- Business development, partnership development would be of interest to us, as would project management, event management, and facilitation experience
- Tech savvy and confident using online technologies
- Demonstrated interest and/or experience in one/some of: the arts, environmental advocacy, sustainability education, event management, or business development and social impact
- Ideally possesses or working towards either an environmental, business, or marketing education or demonstrated experience
- Graphic design expertise would be an asset but not essential
- Must be able to work from home and have your own phone and computer, access to internet, and if based in lower Mainland, must have access to a vehicle to join the Director in Squamish regularly

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal, Freelance, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 31 weeks
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
