**Salon Office Administrator Job Description**

Reports directly to**:Love’s In The Hair General Manager**

**Level**: Administration

**Weekly Hours**: 30-40 hours per week

**Required Days**:
Saturday and Sundays 9am-5pm

Tuesday - Thursday 2pm-7pm (this may change depending on business flow)

**Position Responsibilities**:

- Open and close salon according to protocols to help support other areas of the salon.
- Assume responsibility for greeting clients promptly, offering them refreshments and notifying stylist in a prompt manner
- Organize and execute appointment scheduling
- Responsible for confirming all next business day appointments and ensuring clients are prepped for their appointment to minimize no-show appointments
- Responsibly handle cash and credit transactions
- Comprehends the difference between different hair lines and extension methods to provide detailed and accurate suggestions when asked by guests.
- Continuously grow and follow industry trends, competitors, brands, methods and social media salon trends and implement changes as needed to keep Love’s In The Hair on top of the extension market.
- Assists with inventory tracking for: studio supplies, stylist products, hair inventory, and retail products.
- Responsible for scanning all receipts for incoming stock, products, and business purchases
- Collates online shipping orders and coordinates Canada Post pick-ups/deliveries when necessary.
- Assists with photos and videos for social media channels on a daily basis.
- Assists in daily salon upkeep, cleaning and supplies so all salon operations move smoothly
- Maintains client details and records data accurately and efficiently
- Various admin duties, as required.

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour

- Secondary School (preferred)
