JOB TITLE: Student Associate (PDS)

DEPARTMENT: Pharmaceutical Development Solutions (PDS)

POSITION REPORTING TO: PDS Manager

LOCATION: Mississauga, ON (5 days on site)

TERM: 4 Months

**General Description**

Responsible for supporting Pharmaceutical Development Solutions activities in Formulation Development, Equipment Qualification, Manufacturing Process Development, Packaging Design, Analytical Testing, Process Validation.

**Responsibilities**

Key Responsibilities:

- Gain exposure to manufacturing, analytical testing and information handling in a regulated industry.
- Assist with manufacturing and packaging process design, optimization and troubleshooting.
- Support the qualification of process equipment used in manufacturing and packaging of pharmaceutical products.
- Aid in process validation activities, including data collection, analysis, and report generation.
- Assist to prepare databases, technical reports, SOPs, presentations and other associated documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Operations, Quality) to ensure smooth project execution.

**Qualifications**

Experience and Skills:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic statistical tools and data analysis, with experience in software such as Excel or similar.
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and safety
- Ability to work in a team setting, demonstrate initiative, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

**Education**
- Currently pursuing a degree in a relevant science or engineering field (e.g., Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.).

**Working Conditions**
- Mainly office environment with visits to production area. Require the use of PPE to prevent exposure to hazardous materials when in production area.
