**Account Executive - Full Time**

**Position Description**
Experienced and determined Account Executives now have the rare opportunity to join the team at GVBOT. You will identify, inform, and close new membership opportunities primarily through outbound prospecting and leveraging existing professional relationships.

Reporting directly to the Director of Member Advisory Services, you will be responsible for helping organizations within the Greater Vancouver Region identify their business challenges and strategic growth objectives and enable their success by aligning their goals and objective with the multitude of services, programs & events, and networking opportunities offered by the GVBOT.

The successful applicant will have the confidence, adaptability, and business acumen to engage C-suite decision makers of the diverse business community in Greater Vancouver.

Preference will be given to individuals with a verifiable track record of peak performance in B2B sales.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Prospecting, reporting, and closing leads in new sales pipeline
- Meeting or exceeding KPI’s related to sales activities (including, but not limited too; Cold Calls, Outbound Meetings, and Discovery Meetings)
- Meeting or exceeding Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Annual sales targets.
- Weekly reporting and of sales activities and forecast.
- Updating and maintaining new member information in accordance to “The Board’s” Standards.
- Providing interdepartmental support as requested including attendance at events and functions outside regular business hours.

**Qualifications**
Education: University or College Degree in Business or Marketing or a minimum of 5 years in B2B sales.

**Required Skills & Qualities**
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience working with CRM (e.g., _Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics)_
- Advanced computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Conversant, avid user of social networks and social selling for development of business networks and opportunities
- Verifiable record of outstanding sales abilities and target over-achievement
- Well-connected within the British Columbia business community
