**Some of what you will do**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on Staples’ culture by providing thought-leadership in Talent Strategy, Change Management, Employee Engagement, Performance Management and Succession Planning, the overall employee life cycle, and Staples’ employer brand presence on social media. The Organizational Development (OD) Consultant demonstrates exceptional communication, project management, judgement, and critical thinking abilities. The OD Consultant will enable strategy through the analysis, design, development, execution, and measurement of organizational development programs.

**Specifically, You Will**:

- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high quality execution of the overall Organizational Development strategies.
- Track and measure effectiveness of various OD programs, systems, tools and procedures and make recommendations for continuous improvement opportunities, while balancing cost/benefit and return on investment for all proposed solution offerings.
- Execute OD programs such as new hire orientation, core competencies and capabilities, annual employee engagement survey and supporting programs, Staples’ high-performance framework, and high potential program.
- Partner to create and execute initiatives to enhance Staples’ employer brand presence on social media, drive traffic to career opportunities, and promote a positive experience with our employer brand.Identify opportunities and provide recommendations to improve the employee life cycle, employer brand and employee retention through employee engagement data, focus groups, interviews, analytics, reporting, and feedback trends.

**Some of what you need**:

- Post-Secondary education in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Human Resources, Education, Psychology, related discipline or equivalent experience required.
- Ability to influence others and gain buy-in on programs and initiatives.
- Perform a variety of analysis using metrics and market data.
- Knowledge of current Organizational Development principles, practices and tools.
- Knowledge of change management theories, methodologies and tools.
- 5-7 years of progressive combined experience in Organizational Development, Talent Management or a related field.Experience promoting employer brand through social media outlets is an asset.
