**Location**: St. Catharines, ON
**Type**: Permanent, full-time hours
**Hours of Work**: Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm, 4 days in office, 1 day from home
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for financial analytics and decision-making? Kelly Services is seeking a _**Finance Business Partner**_to lead our client’s finance team and play a key role in shaping the financial direction of the organization. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-growing environment, where you will have a direct impact on both day-to-day financial operations and long-term business strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and support decision-making on short
- and long-term strategies.
- Participate in business planning, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.
- Analyze financial forecasts and suggest strategies to address challenges and maximize opportunities.
- Assist in evaluating new product launches and discontinuations with financial modeling and analysis.
- Oversee accounting functions, including period-end closings (monthly, quarterly, and annually).
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, U.S. GAAP, J-SOX, and all regulatory requirements.
- Maintain cash flow oversight, approving payments, wire transfers, and managing treasury functions.
- Manage government remittances, tax filings, and other compliance obligations.
- Ensure financial statements maintain integrity and accuracy.
- Lead ERP system management and implementation
- Manage, train, and develop two direct reports: the General Accountant and Accounts Payable Clerk.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and performance excellence.
- Actively contribute to company town hall meetings to share financial insights and drive engagement.
**Qualifications/Skills Required**:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in financial management.
- Experience with financial planning, reporting, and analysis, including the development of financial reporting tools.
- Must have an Undergraduate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business.
- Professional accounting designation required (CMA, CGA, CPA, or CA).
- Hands-on experience with MS Dynamics is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail; an analytical mind and inclination for problem-solving.
- Self-motivated personality with a drive to provide goal-oriented results.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Ability to multi-task and the ability to thrive in a changing environment.
