**Shift**

Afternoon Shift (Mon-Thu, 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM)

**Duties & Responsibilities**

Duties and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Perform assembly activities in compliance with documented ISO 9001:2015 processes and procedures.
- Complete assigned work duties accurately while achieving on-time shipping expectations.
- Promptly report component shortages for re-order to the department manager.
- Attend all training sessions as established and required by management.
- Assist other team members as required to achieve company quality and productivity goals.
- Support company initiatives, established to promote an effective, enjoyable and fulfilling environment.
- Work with tight tolerances.
- Loads and unloads parts from the workstation and them places into a specified container.
- Actively uses go-no-gauges (if applicable) in the proper manner.
- Participates in overall machine effectiveness efforts and waste reduction.
- Spot part defects.
- Read blueprints, work orders, or production schedules to determine product or job instructions or specifications.
- Record operational information on specified production reports.
- Clean, lubricate, maintain, and adjust equipment to maintain efficient operation, using air hoses, cleaning fluids, and hand tools.
- Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.
- General workshop duties, including maintenance tasks, paperwork, etc. (if applicable).
- Notify lead hand immediately of equipment malfunction or failure, or quality problems.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
- Follow Quality Management System (QMS) requirements as outlined in the applicable QMS procedures or work instructions, and suggest ways for continual improvement.
- Follow OHS rules and regulations.
- Promptly report personal injuries and unsafe conditions and help to resolve them.

Your supervisor may change your duties and responsibilities from time to time. While shift work is currently taking place at Timbren, all new employees should recognize that they can and will be expected to work on a different shift or a different start and end time than they were originally assigned to if deemed necessary by the company.

**Other requirements**
- Must follow detailed written and verbal instruction.
- Must have CSA approved steel toed work boots.
- Must have excellent hand / eye coordination.
- Must have the ability to work in an area that can be uncomfortable due to noise and extreme temperatures.
- Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented work.
- Lifting up to 51 lbs. at a steady pace (not always required but required periodically).
- Must work well independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to receive direction from Supervisor with positive attitude at all times.
- Must have own or access to reliable transportation (Mon-Thu).
