Location**:Edmonton, AB**

Salary: $**55,000 - 79,000 CAD with health benefits and RPP and bonus plan**

Position Type**: Permanent, Full Time, In Person Monday - Friday 8am-5pm**

**Position Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage and process payroll for employees.
- Verify and approve timesheets, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Perform data entry for payroll adjustments and updates.
- Create and review payment records, ensuring timely and accurate disbursements.
- Handle source deductions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Onboard new employees into the accounting system, time capture system, and benefits portal.
- Issue ROEs and final payments.
- Reconcile and manage employee benefits, including deductions and contributions.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-5 years in payroll and administration preferred
- Completion of the Payroll Compliance Professional (PCP) designation is preferred; enrollment in the program will also be considered
- Completion of the Payroll Management Professional (PMP) designation is highly advantageous
- Experience with Microsoft Suite is required
- Experience with Sage 50 is highly advantageous
