We are a refined, casual and full service restaurant with a goal to over delivering each and every time. Our from scratch kitchen is driven from the back of house with hand crafted brgrs and shakes, and a front of the house focusing on great beer and exceptional service, we continue to make our mark in the Hamilton restaurant scene and beyond - just like our sister restaurants. With an industry leading following and the nice weather returning, we are now looking to fill the few spots left on our team.
**Job Summary**
**Hambrgr** has been one of southern Ontario’s top spots since 2015 and that’s for good reason. We have been committed to serving the best damn food around in a lively and high energy atmosphere. It’s our teams that make this a happen every day. Our Line Cooks are responsible for the great food coming out of our kitchens each day. Our commitment firstly is to our team, we strive to provide not only a great place to work, but also opportunity to advance your own skills in a from scratch kitchen. We provide all the training; you just come with the willingness to learn and grow. With several different restaurants already under our belt and more to come the room to grow your career is endless.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Cooking with passion and care, consistency and quality are top priority.
- Working all assigned line positions
- Able to execute recipes from specs
- Setting up, breaking down and restocking throughout the day
- Performing all assigned duties as required, including prep responsibilities, deep clean requirements etc.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times
- Maintaining a positive and committed focus to your own development and growth
- Receiving direction from management and building on that. Always be willing to assist.
**What we are looking for**:
- 1-2 years Line Cook experience in restaurant kitchens is required
- Confident & comfortable being part of a team
- Able to multi-task and problem solve
- Eager to learn new skill and techniques
- Available to work a flexible schedule (nights, weekends, etc)
- Someone who knows great cooks make great teams
- Food Handler's Certification is preferred
