**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Enforce parking regulations by patrolling assigned site(s), issuing warnings and/or violation notices in accordance with parking enforcement guidelines, redirecting parkers to appropriate parking areas
- Conducts vacant stall counts as required at various times of the day to monitor traffic volumes and identify opportunities to improve parking services
- Check and replenish change and paper stock in automated parking payment equipment and clean equipment solar panels as needed
- Report all equipment failures to management
- Prepare and maintain required records, including logs of parking enforcement activities, and record of contested citation
- Clean up debris from locations
- Put up signs (e.g. signposts, cones) for vehicles and passersby
- Perform landscaping, such as grass cutting, and weed whipping
- Snow clearing during the winter

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with the public.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established guidelines.
- Attention to detail to accurately observe and report violations.
- Basic knowledge of local parking regulations is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in potentially stressful situations.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (required)
- Clean Driver’s Abstract
- 3 Years of Continuous Auto Insurance (required)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
