As a Payroll and Accounting Clerk at Le Vapeur Express, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll and supporting various accounting functions.

We are currently looking for a part-time **Payroll and Accounting Clark **to join our team. With the possiblily of this becoming full-time eventually.

This is a part time, permanent position.

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour - depending on experience

Schedule: Mondays (non-negotiable) and 2 other days, (20-24 hours/week)

Work location: on-site only (no remote)

Experience: 2 years in Payroll.

**General Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Bi-Weekly Payroll for retail stores and head office (approximately 75 employees)
- Analyze and process payroll data using payroll software.
- Responsible for year-end procedures for payroll
- Keep track of sick time and vacation bank of employees
- Respond to government inquiries related to employees.
- Responsible for Group Insurance.
- Responsible for CNESST
- Reconcialtion cash and reciepts
- Expense reports verification
- Reconcialiton of inventory rcvd
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed

**General Requirements**:

- Bilingual: oral and written skills in French and English
- Experience with accounting/payroll software
- Knowledge of MS Office, especially MS Excel
- Ability to communicate in a professional and efficient manner
- Team player, always willing to help and multi-task
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work autonomously_._

Il s'agit d'un poste à temps partiel, permanent, les lundis et mercredis.

Salaire : $20 - $25 a l’heure (selon l’expérience)

Horaire: lundis et 2 autres journées (20-24 heures par semaine)

Lieu de poste : en personne (pas de télétravail)

Expérience requis : 2 ans dans le domaine de la paie.

**Tâches et responsabilités générales**:

- Assister à la production bihebdomadaire, pour nos magasins et le bureau chef, de nos paies. (environs 75 employés)
- Analyser et traiter les données de paie à l’aide d’un logiciel de paie.
- Responsable des procédures de fin d’années pour les paies.
- Responsable du suivi des congés de maladie et de la banque de vacances des employés
- Traiter les appels/courriels entrants des employés concernant les problèmes de paie.
- Répondre aux demandes de renseignements du gouvernement concernant les employés.
- Responsable des assurances collectives.
- Responsable des dossiers de la CNESST
- Des tâches supplémentaires peuvent être assignées au besoin

**Exigences générales**:

- Bilingue : compétences orales et écrites en français et anglais.
- Expérience avec un logiciel de paies.
- Bonne connaissance de MS Office, en particulier MS Excel
- Capacité à communiquer avec nos clients et entrepreneurs de manière professionnelle et efficace
- Joueur d'équipe, toujours prêt à aider et multitâche
- Grand souci du détail
- Capable de travailler de manière autonome
