Executive Vice President of Revenue

**Objective**
The Executive Vice President (EVP) of Revenue is responsible for overseeing Merchant Growth’s entire revenue-generating operations, specifically the sales, business development and marketing departments. This role entails developing and implementing comprehensive strategies to increase revenue streams while maintaining a customer-centric focused approach. The EVP of Revenue plays a critical role in strategic decision-making, working closely with the executive team and departmental leaders to drive sustainable growth.
**Key Responsibilities**
- **Strategy Development and Implementation**: Develop and execute innovative revenue generation strategies to drive business growth. Analyze market trends and adapt strategies to meet changing market and competitive landscapes. Develop strategies to maximize customer lifetime value. Collaborate with the executive team and board of directors.
- **Sales Leadership**: Work with the VP of Sales to oversee the sales team to ensure that sales targets are met or exceeded. Implement sales processes that enhance productivity and effectiveness. Establish and analyze operational metrics related to sales productivity and conversion optimization. Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the sales organization.
- **Marketing and Brand Strategy**: Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure that marketing strategies are aligned with sales objectives and overall business goals. Oversee brand strategy to ensure consistent and effective brand messaging across all channels. Leverage analytics and data science to optimize marketing activities.
- **Partnerships and Business Development**: Identify, win, and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance the organization's market position and revenue opportunities.
- **Team Leadership and Development**: Lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams across sales, marketing, and business development departments. Establish and review performance metrics, accountability structures, and performance-based compensation incentives.
- **Financial Management**: Work closely with the finance department to set revenue targets, manage budgets, and forecast future revenue. Ensure that decisions across the revenue function appropriately prioritize profitability in addition to achieving growth targets.
**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in senior revenue-generating roles, with at least 10 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development, including leadership experience.
- Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
- Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and team members.
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry and market trends, with the ability to adapt strategies in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and other similar business productivity and reporting tools.
