We are seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to join our team. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing financial data, and providing insights to support decision-making processes within the organization. Your attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial information will be crucial in this role.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support strategic planning and budgeting processes.
- Analyze financial statements and reports to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and provide financial insights for business initiatives.
- Provide creative alternatives and recommendations to reduce cost and improve financial performance.
- Assemble and summarize data to structure reports on financial status and risks.
- Gain and update job knowledge to remain informed of the field operations.
- Prepare month end journal entries and reconciliations.
- Prepare bank and general ledger account reconciliations.
- Responds to and resolves inquiries and issues related to audits, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions.
- Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information.
- Support the development of financial policies, procedures, and controls.

**To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills**:

- Post secondary education, with exceptional skills in the financial sector.
- 3+ years of progressively more responsible accounting, process development and reporting experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer programs and systems.
- Experience working with accounting and tax software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficiency in payroll, bookkeeping and record keeping practices on a manual and computerized system(s).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings and recommendations clearly.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and precision.
