**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Provide personal care and support to clients, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions.
- Assist clients with mobility and heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients, promoting hygiene and well-being.
- Support clients with meal preparation and nutrition management.
- Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote social interaction and emotional well-being.
- Document client progress and report any changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including nurses and therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in caregiving or a related field is preferred, particularly in home care or assisted living settings.
- Familiarity with hospice care practices is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by client needs.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols is beneficial.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage.
- Certification in first aid or CPR is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 50 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Weekends as needed

- PSW Certification ? (required)
