**Job Overview**
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with daily living activities and providing compassionate care to enhance their quality of life. This position requires a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting people with various needs, including those with developmental disabilities, dementia, and other health challenges. Your responsibilities will include personal care, patient monitoring, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for residents.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of living environments through regular cleaning and maintenance tasks.
- Assist with medication administration as per prescribed guidelines.
- Provide support for individuals with disabilities, including those with autism.

**Skills**
- Canadian Citzenship
- English language fluency
- Post Secondary education diploma (PSW, DSW, or other in related field)
- Minimum 3 years experience in field
- Current and clear Vulnerable Sector Check
- First aid and CPR certification.
- Experience in home health, hospice care, or long-term care settings is highly desirable.
- Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in behavior or health status.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality and privacy.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or memory care needs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $24.50 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 10 per week
