Kitchen Helper or Junior Line Cook

255 by Alta Rossa is looking for a team member

Position is available at entry level

Start date as soon as possible. Part-time, day and evening positions are available. Wage will depend on skill level and experience.

Kitchen environment is dynamic and organized and there are opportunities for creativity if desired. Food is Italian focused and all made in house. Job duties: Kitchen helper will prepare cold menu items such as salads, desserts, and appetizers, maintaining food quantity levels, cleaning your station properly and include prepping the salad and dessert station properly and efficiently before and during dinner service, communicating with team, cleaning at the end of the shift and writing proper prep lists for next shift.

This position is a perfect position for an individual that is coming out of culinary school or someone who wishes to advance their abilities in a restaurant kitchen environment. Lots of room for advancement to move into other area of the line.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
