**What do we expect of you**:

- Post-secondary education focused on accounting such as a diploma or Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5+ years accounting experience in a related role.
- CPA designation is a definite asset.
- Proficient in using cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online.
- Proficient in utilizing current & new technologies in all aspects of work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities & effectively prioritize work assignments for themselves & assigned team members.
- Excellent communication skills & relationship-building abilities to develop strong partnerships.
- Wide-ranging experience in preparing & analyzing complex financial statements & reports.
- Wide-ranging experience in managing complex transactions for medium & small-sized businesses.
- Experience in providing relevant & constructive guidance to team members & clients.
- Customer service focused & experience in managing client relationships based on trust, expertise & credibility.
- Capacity to assume responsibility in a leadership role for increasingly complicated tasks & assignments.
- Team player, positively impacting & supporting colleagues.
- Demonstrate discretion in handling confidential information.

**What you will be doing**:

- Assist clients in understanding their business systems & processes through cash flow forecasting, budgeting, financial monitoring, & financial statement analysis.
- Oversee financial transaction record-keeping using leading-edge accounting & financial management systems.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations & conduct financial & variance analyses.
- Prepare, review & analyze interim and year-end financial statements.
- Prepare & issue financial statements & relevant reports for clients & other stakeholders.
- Lead &/or review the work of Junior Accountants through delegation, training, oversight, & mentoring.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate & timely completion of client deliverables.
- Assist Associates & Senior Associates with client projects as assigned.
- Embrace feedback & mentoring from colleagues to further develop skills & abilities.
- Participating in team activities and offering support to colleagues, helping to build a strong & cohesive work environment.
