**Job Description**:
Position Overview:
The HR Generalist will provide day to day support to the Regional HR Manager and assist with supporting plant and transportation client groups.

This is an full-time, permanent opportunity based in our Brampton office. This is not a hybrid role. A personal, reliable vehicle and a valid G License are required for weekly visits to sites across GTA.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support, data analysis and reports to the Regional HR Manager
- Provide day to day support to employees
- Conduct new hire onboarding and regulatory training
- Maintain employee records in Workday
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives
- Adhere to the consistent interpretation of Company policies, procedures and programs
- Make recommendations for improvement of policies, procedures and programs
- Conduct investigations with employees as needed and make recommendations based on outcomes
- Recommend and conduct disciplinary actions as required
- Act as key point of contact for employee questions regarding COVID, including contact tracing as needed
- Participates in the development and delivery of communications to the HR team and client groups
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- A college diploma or university degree, specializing in Human resources is preferred
- 3 years of general HR experience
- Working towards CHRP designation preferred
- Experience in manufacturing environments
- Experience in federally regulated industries an asset

Required Skills and Competencies
- A reliable personal vehicle and a valid Ontario “G” Driving License
- Attention to detail and data accuracy
- Ability to multi task and effectively manage rapidly changing priorities
- Understanding and knowledge of ESA in Ontario, Human Rights Code, and OHSA
- Ability to organize workload effectively
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Proficient in MS Office
