**About our Firm**

Heer Law specializes in providing intellectual property law, intellectual property litigation, patent agent and trademark agent services. We are a fast-growing boutique intellectual property law firm located in downtown Toronto. The firm has experienced strong annual revenue growth over the past 4 years and anticipates that the firm will again double over the next 3 years.

**The Role**

**Responsibilities**
- Preparing patentability assessments and patent infringement and validity opinions
- Conducting consultations with clients regarding patent, industrial design and other intellectual property issues
- Monitoring, managing and meeting soft and hard deadlines in patent and design matters
- Training and supervising more junior lawyers, agents, and students

**Qualifications**
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer engineering, computer science or a similar technical field
- Licensed to practice as a lawyer in Ontario or another Canadian jurisdiction
- Registration as a patent agent in Canada and the United States
- 2+ years of post-call experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Good client management and practice management skills
- Willingness to participate in the firm's marketing activities
- Positive mindset and a team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
