We are seeking a talented and passionate full time Behaviour Consultant who will Support families in understanding their child’s developmental needs and provide educational training and resources that address this.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide direct consultation and develop, implement and evaluate behavioural and developmental support plans.
- Administer screenings, assessments and/or functional assessments as needed.
- Communicate and liaise with Family Supports for Children with Disabilities to collaborate on services provided.
- Effectively and professionally communicate with the Family Behavioural Consultation partnership agencies and other related professionals.
- Complete all required documentation and ensure all information is current and confidential.
- Participate as a contributing team member.
- Provide exceptional service in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in monitoring program effectiveness and parent satisfaction.
- Prepare and submit monthly statistical information.
- Assume other appropriately assigned responsibilities.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- University Degree or College Diploma in Community Rehabilitation or a related field of study in Human Services.
- Trained in the administration of the Positive Parenting Program (Triple-P).
- Strong knowledge of a wide variety of behavioural tools and technics that enhance parent capacity. This includes Triple-P and positive reinforcement strategies.
- Experienced in the development and implementation of behavioural and developmental plans is essential
- Several years of experience working directly with children and families, preferably children and youth with disabilities/developmental delays.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and participate as a contributing team member.
- Creative problem solving skills.
- Motivated and reliant.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A satisfactory Criminal Record Check and Child Intervention Record Check.
- Valid Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle.
- Proficient with MS Office Applications.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $26.51-$28.67 per hour
