**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:
**Classroom Instruction**:

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Ontario High School ESL Curriculums that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to enhance the learning experience.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.

**IELTS Exam Preparation**:

- Mentor and guide students in preparation for the IELTS exam, focusing on all four components: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking.
- Develop tailored study plans and strategies to help students achieve their desired scores.

**Student Engagement**:

- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and interaction.
- Support students' overall academic and personal growth by addressing individual learning needs.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of students' attendance, grades, and progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in departmental meetings and professional development opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications:
**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of ESL teaching experience, preferably in a high school setting.
- TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA certification is highly desirable.

**Teaching Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of ESL teaching methodologies and best practices.
- Proficiency in preparing students for the IELTS exam, with a focus on all four test components.

**Communication and Interpersonal Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to connect with and inspire students from diverse cultural backgrounds.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
