**Job Purpose**

DeVry is looking for a _humble, hungry, _and _smart _individualto join the bustling sales team You will provide essential support to the individual account managers with their day-to-day tasks, ensuring that our customer requests are handled timely and professionally. You can also learn and grow within the role, to help you prepare to take on the lead key account manager role in the future.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Assist Senior account manager(s) in day-to-day tasks, ensuring that customers are looked after._Key tasks include but are not limited to:

- Help review and create orders, looking for opportunities
- Help optimize orders and help optimize freight (filling up trucks)
- Help with key tasks required in planning and executing programs
- Learn and grow_
- Learn the DeVry systems and specific work processes
- Get involved in all aspects of managing a corporate account
- Learn the role well, with the desire to grow in the future
- Market Analysis_
- Create program grids for competing stores (bedding, indoor, nursery)
- Present at end of each season
- Capture all retails of comparable products we offer
- Capture all flyers of key chain stores and summarize each season
- Help where help is needed_

**Qualifications**
- A positive can-do attitude is critical to the success of this position
- A continuous desire to improve every aspect of the business.
- Problem-solving skills are needed daily
- Minimum grade 12 education with management and/or sales training is required
- Bachelor of Business Administration, preferably majoring in marketing and sales

**Working Conditions**
- This job requires that the individual be dedicated and organized. Must be willing to work extra hours on Saturdays and evenings if required
- Individuals must remain calm under pressure and be able to work as part of a team
- Individual needs to be committed to helping where help is needed. This is crucial to the success of DeVry as we need to remain a flat organization

**Reporting Structure**
- Work with and report to the Senior Account Manager(s) to share successes and address any issues. (Bi-weekly 1:1 meetings)
- Participate in sales meetings
