Quality Control Analyst

**ROLE TITLE**:QUALITY CONTROL ANALYST (Wet Chemistry)**

**DEPARTMENT**:QUALITY CONTROL**

**REPORTS TO**:SUPERVISOR, QUALITY CONTROL**

**HOURS**:EVENING SHIFT 15:30 to 00:00**

Reporting to the Quality Control Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing Quality Control testing of Pharmaceutical and Natural Health products.

This position is for Wet-Chemistry, evening shift.

**Responsibilities**:

- Participating in various testing on raw materials, in-process and finished products using USP/EP compendia methods and established analytical procedures.
- Provide support on enviro monitoring and equipment cleaning verification in manufacturing area.
- Operating and calibrating various of lab instruments daily or as required.
- Preparing and standardizing various test and standard solutions
- Recognizing out-of-specification or out-of-trend results and assisting in the completion of lab investigation.
- Ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (cGMP) and regulatory requirements in manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
- Participate in occupational health, safety, and wellness.

**Education and Experience**:

- Bachelor of Science degree with a Major in Chemistry or related studies and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Strong knowledge of wet chemistry techniques (instrumental and manual).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Pharmaceutical or Food Industry as Lab technician/analyst.
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office with a proficiency in Word and Excel.
- Working knowledge of the US Pharmacopoeia.
