**About the Role**
The Assistant Vice President will join a global team that is responsible for supporting portfolio accounting, operations and reporting functions in Montreal in order to provide services to our global clients. Primary responsibilities include:
- the Assistant Vice President will be responsible for supporting all aspects of portfolio accounting and performance, as well as elements of process analysis and re-engineering;
- He/she will ensure that portfolio accounting data is maintained in relevant systems in a timely and accurate manner;
- design and implement processes for accounting and reporting; assist in client on-boarding process for new clients; assist in gathering client requirements and reporting;
- demonstrate keen awareness of industry and technology;
- work with internal and external parties to resolve issues and further develop bespoke client solutions.
- participate in various projects.
**What You Bring**
- a minimum of 3 years work experience in finance, accounting or financial services;
- fund accounting or fund administration specific experience is an asset;
- strong technical and systems skills
- experience in relationship management and client service;
Key skills for this role are as follows:
- working knowledge of Geneva / Investran portfolio accounting / administration systems is an asset.
- strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- excellent time management, organizational, prioritization, and communication skills.
- autonomous/self-starter
