Our client, a well-established and growing company in the Real Estate Development and Property Management industry, is looking for a Corporate Controller to join their team located in Ville Saint-Laurent.

Under the supervision of the Director of Finance & Accounting, the Corporate Controller‘s responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

- Ensure accurate, reliable, and timely financial reporting, budgeting/forecasting, and cashflow management for the Company and 80+ related entities
- Prepare all financial statements, tax returns, and quarterly reports (as applicable) for all entities, including corporations and partnerships
- Maintain a reliable system of internal controls to provide accurate reporting at all times
- Lead the cash management / treasury activities of the Company and all related entities
- Monitor all bank account activity, ensure timely/accurate bank reconciliations, perform weekly/regular cash analysis, and ensure cash management / treasury activities are optimized for the Company and related entities
- Lead and execute the Company’s budgeting processes; prepare monthly and annual budgets, analyzing actual results versus budgeted results
- Track and analyze relevant KPIs in support of the Company’s strategic objectives
- Assist in managing the Company’s relationships with external accountants, tax advisors, and other service providers and professionals
- Assist in the preparation of all communications and reporting to investment partners and other key stakeholders
- Assist in the review of transaction closing binders, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded in the books and records of the Company and related entities
- Ensure that the company complies with all legal, tax, audit, and regulatory requirements

**What the individual needs to succeed in this role**:

- BAC in accounting / CPA (preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in the real estate, construction and/or development industry
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and cash, treasury management
- Excellent organization, communication (oral and written), and interpersonal skills
- Strong computer literacy in Excel, Word, and SPACE (asset)
- Proven record of sound judgement, strong integrity, and unwavering moral character
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Bilingual (English/French), both written and spoken
