Fleming College Toronto is a public college-private partnership between Fleming College (FC) and Trebas Institute, with academic delivery and student support services managed by Global University Systems (GUS) Canada. Reporting directly to the Human Resources Manager, the Human Resources Coordinator is an integral part of the team and is responsible for employee relations, administration, and assisting recruitment.

**Responsibilities**
- Performance/probationary reviews, payroll, IT, contracts, HR letters and documents, onboarding documents.
- Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests.
- Advise managers and employees on the interpretation of human resources policies and procedures.
- Issue various HR documents including contracts, employment letters, and change letters.
- Maintain records of employee-related records (payroll, personal information) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements met and up to date.
- Liaising with payroll to provide accurate information on employee-related changes, including but not limited to new starters, leavers, salary changes, and expenses.
- Manage the leaver process of employees, including liaison with IT, calculating payroll information.
- Assist line managers with performance management procedures and improvement plans with line managers as needed; ensure plan is implemented and completed,
- Manages and resolves employee relations issues.
- Mentoring other HR members.
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different areas and departments.
- Design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
- Assisting with the recruitment and interview processes when needed.
- Coordinate and delegate the task to the appropriate person of the team.
- Supporting the Director, HR with any ad hoc projects and reports.

**Position Requirements**

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in Human Resources.
- Minimum 2 years of related human resources or talent acquisition experience.
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting, using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.

**Knowledge and Skills**
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of Human Resources Information System.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential documents with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Ability to deal courteously and effectively with people at all levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload.
- Demonstrated ability to engage others to ensure success in the workplace.
- Confident with manage deadlines, targets, and multitask, working on many projects at once.
