Join us **Who you are**: You are an energetic, developing product professional who enjoys working closely with software development, infrastructure engineering teams, technical writers, and product managers. You thrive in an environment of complex technical requirements, can interpret business goals to develop technical plans, and can communicate just as effectively in writing as in person. You are excited to build an opensource cybersecurity solution for the greater good of Canada, Canadians, and the world. You have experience working with Agile (e.g., Scrum) processes to deliver on the product managers’ product vision. You are a methodical, data-driven facilitator that relentlessly pursues adherence to detailed design specifications. - Provide a critical interface between product and engineering for the development and maintenance of a diverse set of new and mature DNS and cybersecurity products and services. - Facilitate the tactical execution of the product roadmap for CIRA’s cybersecurity portfolio, as defined by the product management team. - Develop and document Stories and Spikes which meet the objectives as described in the related Epics. - Form and grow strong relationships with engineering individual contributors to create new, daily interactions with product management. - Generate, analyze, and communicate detailed reports on development progress, sustaining engineering status, and other Agile process health KPIs. **What you bring**: - 3+ years of product owner experience for B2B SaaS software products or services. - 3+ years of software, networking, cloud, or cybersecurity experience as a product team member. - Undergraduate degree in a related technical discipline (e.g., computer science). - A data-driven mindset with proven analytical abilities. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to drive teams to execute on well-defined plans. **Who we are**: We are a not-for-profit, purpose-driven organization with a dynamic team that helps shape the internet in Canada.
