About the Opportunity
This is an opportunity to step into a senior Product Owner role where business strategy, risk management, and technology delivery intersect. You'll play a key role in shaping and sustaining enterprise platforms that support risk management and back-office operations, ensuring they deliver measurable value while meeting complex regulatory requirements.
Working within a highly collaborative, regulated environment in the financial services or public sector space, you'll partner closely with senior leaders across finance, legal, IT, and operations. Your work will directly influence business outcomes such as cost efficiency, risk mitigation, and organizational transformation, making this role ideal for someone who thrives on accountability and impact.

Your Responsibilities
- You'll define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy aligned with organizational and regulatory goals.
- In this role, you'll prioritize features and enhancements based on business value, risk mitigation, and stakeholder input.
- You'll act as the primary liaison between business lines, technology teams, and external partners.
- You'll gather, clarify, and translate requirements from senior and executive-level stakeholders.
- You'll manage the product backlog and support sprint planning with cross-functional Agile teams.
- You'll identify, assess, and address risks throughout the product lifecycle.
- You'll monitor product performance and provide regular updates to senior leadership while leading change management initiatives.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in senior Product Owner or Product Manager roles with accountability for business outcomes.
- Proven ability to prioritize strategically and drive measurable business value.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with executive leaders.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting, legal regulations, and risk management frameworks.
- Experience leading business transformation or change management initiatives.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Azure DevOps.
- Professional certifications such as CSPO, CPA, CFA, FRM, CISA, MBA, or PMP are considered assets.
