Foh Supervisor

**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and coordinate front of house staff, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to service standards.
- Be familiar with food and beverage offerings including wines.
- Train and mentor team members in customer service, food handling, and restaurant procedures.
- Manage the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and transaction accuracy.
- Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed, ensuring quality and presentation meet company standards.
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for new staff members.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Report to the manager and participate in restaurant meetings with the owner and management team.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and effective communication between front and back of house.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, adhering to health and safety regulations.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the food service or hospitality industry.
- 3+ years experience in serving/ as a senior server.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience with POS systems and OpenTable is required.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating memorable dining experiences.
- Background in restaurant management or kitchen experience is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
