You will be an instrumental part of our brand and communications team. We’re seeking someone to work collaboratively with colleagues and clients on various projects, including communications plans and editorial calendars, advertising and social media copy, and brand and website content. We need a self-starter w**H**o loves learning about people and what makes companies tick and can effortlessly communicate their stories in whatever medium is required.

**What the job entails**:

- Working with colleagues and clients to research and write clear, concise, and compelling communications. Assisting with client and agency communications, including performing initial research, drafting copy, posting news and website updates, and promoting content and events on social media. To achieve this, you will need to be a talented interv**I**ewer, a solid researcher, skilled at amalgamating information into engaging and well-written content, and a meticulous editor. You will be called upon to draft long and short-form communications for marketing materials, websites (bios, services, blogs, etc.), advertising, social channels, PR, communications reports, etc.
- You’ll be a point of contact for many of Cubicle Fugitive’s marketing and communication projects, understanding their goals, objectives, and professional needs. You’ll provide thoughtful and straightforward approaches to address our client’s goals, coordinate deliverables, communicate with clients, prepare status reports, and ensure we deliver excellent quality work to our clients every time. You’ll build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships through regular communication and exceptional se**R**vice.
- As part of Cubicle Fugitive’s social media committee, you will help develop Cubicle Fugitive’s editorial schedule and work with the team to ensure we constantly stream insightful and valuable content for our clients. You’ll engage with our audience across platforms, cultivate meaningful connections with our followers, and craft content that aligns with our goals. You will assist with and advise on the design of social media images to complement editorial content.
- As a communications coordinator, you will be mentored on our brand process, where we seek to identify, position, and communicate our client’s brands. You will learn about our interviewing process, competitive audits, and how to translate insights into **E**ffective brand messaging. We will mentor you on the various phases of our brand process, and you will assist our Brand and Communications Manager during brand strategy projects, from research and positioning to visualization.
- You will work collaboratively with our design team to visualize our clients’ brands (e.g., logos, print and digital collateral, and advertising) and help brainstorm the “big idea” to launch the new positioning to clients, employees and recruits. You will work closely with our website strategy, design and development teams to ensure your content tells the client’s story and is visualized in meaningful and impactful ways. When writing digital content, you will pay close attention to the client’s business goals, ensuring all online content is written for clients and prospects, all while following SEO best practices.
- Upholding the values of Cubicle Fugitive, you will collaborate with tea**M**mates to ensure we deliver exceptional work to our clients and each other. As a communications coordinator, you are a brand ambassador of Cubicle Fugitive on social media, at industry events and conferences, and within our company. You must travel for client meetings and conferences, and we encourage you to volunteer for industry associations, e.g., ILTA, Legal Marketing Association, etc. Cubicle Fugitive covers membership and travel costs.

**We’re looking for an active collaborator who**:

- A post-secondary degree/diploma in English, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, or Business/Marketing.
- **2-3 years of experience in a writing and communications role is preferred.**:
