**We are currently looking for a motivated and resourceful individual to occupy our Operations supervisor position in the afternoon.**

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience in the logistics/transportation industry
- Basic knowledge of outlook and office suite (excel)
- Written/spoken/read English and French
- class 3 driver’s license
- Forklift operator certification an asset

**Who we’re looking for**:

- Be versatile, independent, and resourceful
- Capacity to manage stress and work well under tight deadlines
- Capacity to report operations to Regional Manager
- Ability to manage, supervise and work in teams
- Possess effective communication skills
- Comfortable working flexible hours
- Comfortable working in different areas of the province

**Tasks/responsibilities**:

- Verifying Driver scans
- Truck/trailer/equipment maintenance
- Supervision of driver operations during the afternoon
- Reporting issues and/or problems to Regional Manager
- Creating and filing daily operations reports
- Rectifying and troubleshooting issues with all drivers’ deliveries
- Filling in on routes when needed

**Exigences**:

- 3 à 5 ans d'expérience dans le secteur de la logistique et du transport.
- Connaissance de base d'Outlook et de la suite bureautique (Excel).

Connaissance de base d'outlook et de la suite bureautique (excel) -Anglais et français écrits, parlés et lus
- Permis de conduire de classe 3
- Certification de conducteur de chariot élévateur à fourche, un atout

**Tâches/responsabilités**:

- Vérification des scans des conducteurs
- Entretien des camions, des remorques et de l'équipement.

Supervision des opérations des chauffeurs pendant l'après-midi.
- Signaler les questions et/ou les problèmes au directeur régional.
- Créer et classer les rapports d'exploitation quotidiens
- Vérification et résolution des problèmes liés aux livraisons de tous les conducteurs.
- Remplacer les chauffeurs en cas de besoin

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dorval, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Operations supervisor: 2 years (preferred)
