**Job Overview**
We are a new startup in the fashion industry looking to hire a Bilingual (Mandarin-speaking) Production & Merchandising Coordinator willing to learn in a fast-paced environment, and adept at using the latest technologies. With a focus on creativity, sustainability, and inclusivity, our company is committed to making a positive impact on the fashion industry. This is a hybrid position with 3 days working in the office for the daytime portion, and 5 days working from home in the evening portion.

In addition, our company is backed by a tenured company which will provide full support on the administrative, supply chain, and financial aspects of the company.

**Duties**
- Communicate directly with overseas factories and satellite offices, from 9AM-3PM (in office 3 days) & 8PM-11PM (work from home), Monday to Friday.
- Manage order processing and adhere to all necessary timelines and key tasks.
- Negotiate delivery dates and costs with factories.
- Oversee time and action calendars and production WIP (Work in Progress) charts.
- Coordinate with overseas offices and factories to ensure smooth execution of all production orders.
- Manage sample submissions and approvals.
- Collaborate with the satellite office on planning, trim purchasing, and logistics.
- Report directly to the Design Director, providing status updates on ongoing orders and projects.
- Assist the Design Director with ad-hoc tasks and projects as needed..
- Assist in administrative tasks related to inventory management and sales reporting.

**Experience, Education, and Skills Required**
- Native or Advanced proficiency in Mandarin
- Able to work at Monday to Friday evenings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the ability to analyze large amounts of data.
- Familiarity with PDF, Google Drive, Google Sheets, and Excel.
- Demonstrated track record of being a self-starter and taking initiative
- Previous connections in the restaurant, bar, hotel, and other hospitality industries is a strong asset
- Outstanding Interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized, detail oriented, and good with technology
- Familiarity with MS Office and other relevant Sales CRM software
