**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including examinations, cleanings, and surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
- Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance verification, and managing patient inquiries.
- Support pediatric patients with a caring approach, ensuring their comfort during visits.
- Collaborate with orthodontists when necessary for specialized treatments.

**Experience**
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is essential.
- Experience with dental software systems such as Dentrix or Epic is advantageous.
- Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) in dentistry is a plus.
- Background in pediatrics or orthodontics will be considered an asset but is not mandatory.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
