**Job Type**: Full-time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and substance use issues to identify needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients in their recovery journey.
- Assist clients in developing coping strategies, life skills, and personal goals for sustained recovery.
- Facilitate access to needed services, including medical, psychological, and social support resources.
- Monitor and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and maintaining accurate case documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, and community organizations to coordinate care and support for clients.
- Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients.
- Educate clients and families about mental health and addiction issues, fostering understanding and reducing stigma.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices in mental health and addiction treatment.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (or equivalent experience); Master’s degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications or licensure in mental health or addictions counseling preferred.
- Previous experience working with individuals with mental health and/or addiction issues.
- Strong understanding of mental health and addiction treatment models and best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and active listening skills.

- Ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Proficient in relevant software and documentation systems.
