**About the Team**:
Our Client Operations Team puts the client at the forefront of everything we do. We're dedicated to continually seek to find creative solutions to address the** **exacting needs of high-net worth clients and wealth advisors. We pride ourselves on accuracy, polished interpersonal skills, and timely follow-through. **Purpose of the Role**:
Your role as a Client Service Associate, Estates Administrator, is to provide expertise, guidance, and a high level of administrative support to our Advisory Services Team as they work directly with our clients who are going through estate settlements and marriage breakdowns. As you manage the end-to-end workflow to facilitate a smooth and client-centric settlement process, you'll make a meaningful impact to clients during one of the most difficult times in their life.

This role will operate on a hybrid working schedule based in either Vancouver or Toronto.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Review client holdings in investment accounts and determine requirements to settle estates and death claims or to distribute assets due to marriage breakdown.
- Communicate with executors and clients directly to facilitate the execution of settlement.
- Provide support and guidance to navigate the estate settlement process, proactively escalating where necessary to ensure strict adherence to SLAs.
- Collaborate with Advisory Services Team to provide expertise and create a seamless client experience.
- Finalize tax receipts issued for settlement.

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of related experience
- A strong understanding of registered plans in relation to the estate settlement process.
- Experience processing beneficiary changes and setting up POAs on client accounts.
- Basic knowledge of common law in relation to estates and wills.
- STEP CETA course or willingness to enroll.
- Familiarity with industry and compliance regulations and ability to monitor and be aware of risk in terms of client confidentiality.

**Compensation & Benefits Package**:
This position comes with a competitive base salary hiring range of **$51,000-$70,000**; dependent on experience, skills, qualifications and internal equity.
